anniversary update

Woah look anniversary update. Ya both these lil games came out 2 years ago so i gave both lil updates. Heres the changelog for both it’s the same on both game pages because idc.

changes to both

• new checkpoint/jank savestate system: ya when i first made DD2 i wanted it to have toggleable savestates but i didnt know how to do that, but a few months ago i was like “oh i can just add settable respawn points” so thats what this is. if checkpoints are turned on in the options you can set a spawnpoint in a room by holding Q and hitting 1-9, and then you can choose which to spawn from by just hitting 1-9 to set your spawn, and reset your spawn back to the default one with 0. So like savestates but the hazards and stuff dont reset. Also you can totally lock yourself into infinite death where you have to exit to title but if you do that its on purpose and i blame you, just dont deathlock yourself.
• hardcore mode: if you die you go all the way back to the start so don’t die. you have full control over the character so really this should be on by default because you shouldnt die but whatever you can turn it on in the options. In all seriousness this is like a half joke addition so please be careful this will actually send you back to the start of the game and fuck your save.
• changed menu text font
• upscale backgrounds epic hd

DD1 changes

• added a sound effect somewhere related to a secret
• moved the background betweens level 1 and 2 up cuz it looks better that way

DD2 changes

• changed a sign sprite to have more detail somewhere
• added an actual ending medley song so it's not just the title screen drums (also adding it to the soundtrack on bandcamp)
• moved a dirt art asset like 2 inches to the left to make it not look weird
• Changed some boss rematch place sprites to be specific
